The guide will meet the group at the Valletta Campus at 9am to depart for a tour of Birgu, the city that served as first headquarters of the Knights of the Order of St John upon their arrival in Malta in 1530. The walking tour will also include a visit to the Inquisitor’s Palace. This historic building offers an interesting interpretation about the history of the Inquisition in Malta, and also serves as the National Museum of Ethnography, presenting, among others, interesting collections about Malta’s religious feasts. No meals are included in the price.
